If you have new onset facial weakness seek medical help urgently to establish the cause or type of palsy. Access your local emergency department. Once your diagnosis has been confirmed by a doctor you can call for further information on physiotherapy and to book an appointment.
You do not need a referral to book a physiotherapy appointment.
Your doctor, dentist, specialist or another health care professional may have suggested you need to see a physiotherapist & a referral form is available but not usually essential.
We are happy to discuss your needs with you or your referring health practitioner.
